Recent Grant OpeningsPublix Supermarktes opened a new 56,500 square foot store on May 8th in the DuPont Lakes Center at 2160 Howland Boulevard.Fairwinds Credit Union held a ribbon cutting on April 17th for their newest branch located near the Wal-Mart on Howland Boulevard.Fifth Third Bank held a ribbon cutting on May 8th for their new branch at Elkcam and Howland Boulevards.Sterling Court opened on Alabaster Way near Saxon Boulevard. The facility features independent retirement community living, offering one and two bedroom suite apartments with amenities.
In the Clearing Stage- If you drive by the intersection of Normandy and Graves, you may have recently noticed some construction activity. Site clearing is underway for the much anticipated large scale retail project, Deltona Village. The 150 plus acre project is being developed by Weingarten Realty Investments and will feature over 221,000 square feet of retail space in the initial phase with dining and entertainment venues planned.

- Lowe's Home Improvement will begin demolition work this fall on the building formerly occupied by Publix Supermarkets at Elkcam and Howland, to make way for a new 135,000 square foot store projected to be completed by the end of next year.
- Publix Supermarkets has announced it will purchase 49 Albertson stores in Florida, including the Albertsons on Saxon Boulevard in Deltona. Plans are underway to convert the existing Albertsons to a Publix and renovate the store.

- Top Shelf Car Wash will build a 5,760 square foot full service car wash on Howland Blvd. between Wolf Pack Run and Red Fox Run.
