Beautification Advisory BoardCity Resolution No. 2006-20 At its May 15, 2006 Regular Meeting, the Deltona City Commission approved Resolution No. 2006-20 which included the creation of a Beautification Advisory Board. Meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall 2nd Floor Conference Room. Please Note:
The Board shall consist of seven members with full voting privileges appointed by the City Commission. The Board may also appoint two (2) non-voting members who shall have expertise in beautification and special landscape treatments. TERM OF OFFICE: Individuals appointed to this Board serve one-year terms in a non-paid capacity and must be residents of the City of Deltona. OFFICERS: The members of the Board shall elect a Chairperson, a Vice-Chairperson, and a Secretary at the first regular meeting of the Board. They shall serve in those positions for a period of one year. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The purpose of this Board is to: Encourage residents of the City to become involved in the beautification of the City of Deltona and to help instill a sense of pride in the Community that will result in a more attractive, safer and healthier environment for our residents and visitors; Encourage input and ideas from the residents and business owners of the City of Deltona on beautification matters; and Provide input and information to the City Commission concerning programs and projects as assigned by the City Commission.
